Minerva Centre - Conference Centre and Meeting Place
The award winning Minerva Centre is a unique resource in Essex for conferences, seminars, training and meetings. Dating from the mid-Victorian period and set within 200 acres of farmland, the centre features buildings of outstanding charm and architectural interest, designed and restored as a purpose built training, conference and event venue.
The Centre operates from the Roundbush Farm complex situated on the border between Mundon and Purleigh. This has become an extremely popular centre for small business and provides us with a relaxing and peaceful environment for our events, away from everyday noise and distraction.

Our location, just 3 miles from the centre of historic maritime Maldon, has direct links from the A12 and A130. There is easy access from Chelmsford in just 20 minutes and Colchester in 30 minutes. Junction 28 of the M25 Motorway is a straightforward 35 minute journey. Unlike the major town centre venues in Essex we have no early morning or evening rush-hour traffic and no car parking problems. You just arrive to a warm welcome, hot coffee and comfortable seating.
An increasing number of our customers are taking advantage of the space around the conference rooms to plan outside exercises and recreational activities, enjoy al fresco lunches or just take-in some fresh air at break times.
